Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Receipts mobile application and website at receipts.bingo (together, the “Service”), operated by Receipts (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts where you live. You sign in with your Apple ID through Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure.
2. The Service
Receipts lets you photograph purchase receipts, extracts information such as the merchant, amount and date, and records eligible purchases to your account. Eligible purchases may earn cashback rewards that are allocated to digital assets as described in the app. Reward rates, eligibility rules and supported merchants can change at any time and may differ by region.
3. Receipt submissions
You may only submit receipts for purchases you made yourself. Submitting duplicate, altered, fabricated or third-party receipts is prohibited and may result in reversal of rewards and termination of your account. We may verify receipts manually or automatically and may reject any submission at our discretion.
4. Rewards and digital assets
Rewards may be paid in, or converted into, digital assets including Solana-based tokens whose value is highly volatile and may fall to zero. Rewards are promotional, have no cash value until paid out under the rules in the app, and are not deposits, securities or investment advice. We do not guarantee any return. You are solely responsible for taxes arising from rewards you receive and for compliance with the laws that apply to you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by reverse engineering it, interfering with its operation, scraping it, using automated tools to submit receipts, or circumventing any limits or security measures.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store terms.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Unpaid rewards may be forfeited on termination for breach.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Receipt recognition is automated and may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing extracted details before saving them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or digital assets, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
